Plant Germplasm registration certificate  

ICAR-Indian Institute of Rice Research (ICAR-IIRR), Hyderabad is the nodal DUS institution for rice under the Protection of Plant Varieties & Farmer's Rights Authority (PPV&FRA), New Delhi. ICAR-IIRR not only played a pivotal role in developing DUS guidelines but also facilitated the registration of Extant Notified Rice Varieties and Farmers varieties with PPV&FRA.

• Dr.  AP Padmakumari  conferred with  Dr. Thomas Bainbrigge  Fletcher Memorial  award - 2024 in the 6th  National Conference on “Advances  in Agricultural and Industrial Entomology” on November 17, 2024 organised by Dr. Vasant Raj David Foundation    for her contribution to Agricultural Entomology with emphasis  on rice.
