Essential Qualifications:
Degree / Diploma in Agricultural Science.
Desirable Qualification :
- A minimum of 5 years experience in rice weed experiments, herbicide applications, herbicide toxicity observations, weed identification, observations & sampling of weeds, Crop & soil.
- Executing experiments on Aerobic rice, Puddled Direct Seeded rice systems, field cultivation from seed to seed.
- Collection and processing of crop parameters, yield attributes & yield

Essential Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in the Plant Breeding/Genetics/Biotechnology/ Life sciences with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of master’s degree with NET qualifications or PhD will be considered for SRF as mentioned in the OM DARE/ICAR dated 15-10-2024.
Desirable Qualification :
Research experience in Hybrid Rice breeding/hybrid rice seed production as evidenced by publications, Project and laboratory management, manuscript and Reports drafting, Field and molecular marker research experience, data collection, sample analysis, field maintenance.
