7. Research into development of Decision Support Systems for insect pests of rice and cotton based cropping systems – World Bank funded NAIP project
8. Investigations on system of rice intensification (SRI) for water saving and yield optimization in irrigated ecosystem -  Funded by Ministry of water resources
9. DST-ICRISAT Center of Excellence on Climate Change Research for Plant Protection (CoE-CCRPP): Pest and disease management for climate change adaptation – Funded by DST

Technologies/Products/Varieties/Novel germplasm/Methodologies developed:-

1. Developed a novel phenology-based degree day model to predict the activity of leaf folder in rice.
2. Developed a special phenotyping method for screening entries for resistance to rice leaf folder in the field
3. Assessed leaf folder damage using hyperspectral radiometry and identified characteristic spectral indices.
4. Estimated temperature thresholds and thermal requirements for the development of rice leaf folder.
